London based solo artist managed by Sean Mclusky

ALBUM  'THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL IS A TRAIN’ release on 1234 RECORDS – 2005

'The Light At The End Of The Tunnel Is A Train' was written, recorded and self produced by WHITEY (AKA Nathan J Whitey) and features 10 game changing tracks that combined fuzzy, driving electronics with catchy, yet twisted pop.

Stand outs include the melodic, 'Cant Go Out, Can't Stay In', the debut 7" ‘Y.U.H.2.B.M’, the album's title track and the single 'Non Stop’ which also featured on a world wide Visa TV advert. Multiple tracks from this album were also featured in the cult US TV series 'The Sopranos’ plus CSI Miami, CSI New York and The OC.

WHITEY toured Europe and USA with a full band line up featuring; Julian Taylor-Shah (DRINK ME) on guitar/keyboards, Scott Fairbrother (CLIENT) on bass, Patric Walden (BABYSHAMBLES) on Guitar and Wildcat Will (BETH ORTON) on drums.

On this debut album, the self-taught WHITEY writes the songs, plays guitar, bass, keyboards, synths, vibraphone, violin, piano, drums and drum machines. The album was assembled piecemeal from snatched hours in strangers studios, from rough demos on cheap keyboards, demo sessions on borrowed equipment and sessions paid for by various benefactors foolish enough to go along with it. The end result of this chaotic process lies somewhere between fragile melody and brutal rhythmic noise. A ground breaking, much emulated, genius debut work of art.
